With extremely dense weave, it has a very fine, moist texture and a substantial, firm feel.
It is something you can only feel in
habutae, a luxury material.
This is clearly reflected in its appearance as well, with an elegant, refined luster that is never gaudy.
A simple
cross tie of reliable quality will transform you into a sophisticated adult.
You can wear it with confidence at any formal occasion, including royal events, award ceremonies, society gatherings, receptions, weddings, and concerts.
The habutae used is woven in a small textile workshop in
Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading
silk-producing regions. Fujiyoshida is a historic production area whose history began in the Heian period. This land, fed by spring water from Mt. Fuji, has the clean water essential for good dyeing.
In the
weaving process, Yamamoto’s blended habutae uses as many as 13,000
warp threads in a width of only 47 cm, and the
weft uses 120-
denier yarn double-twisted to create an astonishing 240-denier thickness.
By weaving slowly on shuttle looms, the fabric incorporates air and becomes three-dimensional, while skilled craftsmen constantly inspect it for any defects. Dyeing, yarn production, warping, and weaving are all carried out under strict quality control by artisans dedicated to making excellent products for our customers.
This is a product we recommend with the greatest confidence and pride.
