How to Choose Kajitec Press Fasteners and Eyelets

Kajitec handles cord stoppers and installation parts, hand presses, and items related to press fasteners and eyelets, centered on plastic hooks. Material options range from resin to aluminum, iron, stainless steel, and brass.

A press fastener is a snap-type fastener that opens and closes by pressing the male and female parts together. When attaching it to textile, choose the matching parts and setting tools as a set. Cord stoppers are suitable when you want to adjust the tightness of strings or cords at hems, hoods, bag openings, and similar areas.

Frequently asked questions

QDo press fasteners and eyelets need button seals?

For thin textile, we recommend using a button seal, as it helps prevent the textile from tearing after repeated attachment and removal, and reduces the risk of it coming loose.
For thick textile such as leather, it may not fit and may not be able to be fastened, so please check with a sample before considering it.
