The enamel surface features a silver curved pattern incorporating the letters “S” and “C,” creating an asymmetrical design. Colored enamel glass crystals are crushed and mixed with water to form a paste. This is applied precisely to the design mesh before being fired at 800 degrees. It is then hand-polished to create a beautifully smooth, flat surface. This stage of the process is repeated three times and accounts for just 1/12 of the creation of these handmade cufflinks. Because it requires advanced skill, they are made by British artisans specializing in highly precise components such as jewelry and precision machine parts.
The gemstones handled by CODIS MAYA use ethically sourced stones in accordance with CIBJO, the International Confederation of Jewellery, Silverware, Diamonds, Pearls and Stones.
