White Formal Tie with Enduring Popularity
15 Sept 2026
While silver and gray ties have been the trend lately, white ties have become quite rare. In the past, white was the mainstream choice for formal ties, but they have become much less common recently. However, it is true that there are still a certain number of customers looking for white ties, so we carry this tie as a standard item. The tie material is woven by a long-established textile mill in Yamanashi Prefecture, founded in 1915. A distinctive feature of this mill is its insistence on the quality of the raw silk thread, using only the highest-quality thread; the textile woven from that thread is also used by overseas luxury brands. Another feature is that, whereas ordinary mills typically use only black or white warp threads, this mill can also weave fabrics prone to defects, such as satin weave, using warp threads of the same color. It is extremely particular about quality. This is a tie we highly recommend to customers looking for a white tie.
