Cap and close posts are metal parts fixed by setting, and are classified as press fasteners and eyelets. The main products handled are Morito (MORITO) brass parts, and they are used for reinforcing and decorating leather goods and bags, as well as for applications such as fastening hooks to fabric.
When selecting them, a good rule of thumb is to check the application, such as reinforcement or decoration, as well as the part to be fixed and how it will be attached to the fabric. Cap and close posts are used by passing the part through the fabric and flattening the legs with a setting tool or press to secure it, so choose them to match the fixing method you will use. Customer reviews mention that small cap and close posts are easy to handle.
