【Ripstop】 Ripstop is a reinforced textile that stops tearing (RIP) and stopping (STOP). By weavingnylon fibers into the grid sections, it maintains strength and has long been used for tents, bags, and the like. Its pattern was well received, and the name ripstop spread into the apparel fabric world as well. Some people also call it rip cloth, but that would mean “torn fabric.” For this item, we have blended in 25% linen, making it an excellent choice for cool summer shirts and blouses.
[Airy Wash] We also put extra care into the mercerizing process to improve dyeability, and after carefully dyeing over time, we repeatedly loosen the fabric by gently beating it evenly with compressed air at a calculated temperature. After much trial and error, we were able to give it a soft, bouncy finish through a special process. Because it is processed in small quantities and takes time, production efficiency is not great, but we hope you will take a look at the skilled craftsmanship honed over many years.

Handling
・Please allow for contamination and subtle weaving defects due to the natural fibers. ・There may be some slight shade variation within a roll. ・Please take rolls and cut by roll. ・Please wash separately. ・Please wash gently at a water temperature of 30°C or below and dry in the shade, or dry clean. ・As this product is made to preserve its texture, no pressing and no ironing are recommended.
The SLK series is not washable silk. We recommend dry cleaning.
Can I place an order for fabric without any joins?
Cut-to-order quantities are possible, but for orders of 5 m or more, piece breaks may occur. If there is a piece break in a cut order, we cut it a little longer. Also, even for rolls, there may be piece breaks, so please place your order with some extra allowance (loss).
I ordered the fabric by roll, but isn’t the quantity the same as what I ordered?
When you order fabric by the roll, the exact length of a full roll may vary, so the delivered quantity may be slightly more or less than the quantity you ordered. If the quantity changes from your order, we will notify you of the quantity by email each time. If the quantity is greater, we will ask you to pay the difference. If it is less, credit card payments are charged the lower amount (your card is charged when your order ships). If you have already paid by bank transfer, or used a payment method that is charged when you place the order, such as Alipay, we will refund the difference within a few days after shipping.

The color of the sample card swatch and the actual fabric I ordered differ. Can it be exchanged?
There may be slight differences depending on the fiber material, and fiber products can vary in color from lot to lot. For that reason, we cannot offer an exchange for slight variations, but if the color difference is significant, we will consult with the manufacturer and arrange an exchange or other appropriate response.
I would like hang tags and woven labels for fabric with a trademark.
Regarding hang tags and woven labels, if the manufacturer selling them is different, the prices, terms, etc. will also differ. If you order the fabric, we can arrange it from as little as one piece. In principle, hang tags are often available, but woven labels may not be, so when ordering the fabric, please let us know the fabric product number and the number of hang tags/woven labels, etc.
I purchased a sample card, but there are colors not listed on ApparelX. Is it possible to purchase them?
Yes, it is possible. The sample card will be updated when the manufacturer adds new colors, but they may not be listed on ApparelX. Please contact us from here with the product number and color number you want.
If I buy the fabric by roll, is it possible to be told the one roll's length in advance?
If you order by roll, the number of meters allocated per roll varies depending on the timing of the order, so we cannot inform you of the meter count. Also, we are very sorry, but because the length of one roll differs, we cannot specify the meter count.
What color is the PFP?
P下, PFP (Prepare for Print), refers to undyed, unprocessed fabric that has been treated for dyeing and printing.
Is custom dyeing possible for colors not listed on the sample card?
Since availability, lead time, unit price, etc. vary depending on the product number, please note it on the support page or in the remarks field when placing your order. We will confirm with the manufacturer.
If there is no P-base option, can printing not be done?
If there is no variation for P下 or dyeing color numbers, we may also print on white and similar colors, but depending on the chemicals, there are cases where the print does not adhere well. Please try it with a sample.
The sample card came with a woven label and hang tag, but aren't they included with fabric orders?
The woven label and hang tag must be arranged separately. If you enter the desired quantities in the remarks field when placing your order, we will confirm with the manufacturer whether they can be arranged. Once confirmed, we will let you know the payment method.
Is it possible to have the fabric printed?
If it is a fabric with P backing, printing is possible. If you provide the data and quantity, we will send you a quote.
Is it possible to have the fabric cut to a specified size?
It depends on the type and size of the fabric. (A separate processing fee will apply.) Please contact us for details via the Support Page.
Can Pertex fabric be arranged?
We are sorry, but fabrics such as Pertex are not sold as stock items. Since they are fabrics that must be procured in lots after applying for the brand while respecting trademarks, we are unable to arrange them.
Do you carry colors that are not listed in the color swatch?
There may be cases where a color is not shown on the product page due to new colors being added, etc. We may be able to arrange it, so please contact us.
