16W Stretch Corduroy Indigo

This is an indigo-dyed narrow-wale corduroy.
It combines a rich color with the comfortable feel of stretch.
With washing and repeated wear, the color will gradually fade, allowing you to enjoy the denim-like aging effect (fade).
The narrow wales give it a refined look without being too rugged, making it suitable not only for casual styling but also for polished looks.
The thickness is easy to handle, and it can be used throughout the season.

The unit used to indicate corduroy wales is the wale (W), which shows how many ridges there are within 1 inch (2.54 cm).
The smaller the number, the wider the wales (thick wale), and the larger the number, the narrower the wales (fine wale).
Thick wale has a casual impression, while fine wale and velveteen have a refined impression.

For outer fabrics used in quilted coats and similar items, 21W to around 9W is often used.
In the past, fine wale was used more often, but recently medium wale in the 9W class has also become more common.

Color fastness
1. This product has extremely poor rubbing color fastness, both dry and wet. It is not equivalent to denim. Please be careful of color transfer and staining at each stage. Also, please include care labels and other markings on the finished product.
2. This product has extremely poor washing color fastness and chlorine color fastness. It is not equivalent to denim. Please be careful of color transfer and staining at each stage. Also, please include care labels and other markings on the finished product.
3. This product has extremely poor light color fastness. After-processing such as bleaching may further reduce color fastness. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, lighting, and the like during storage in roll form, unrolling, cutting, sewing, and other stages. In retail stores as well, please be careful not to place products in environments exposed to sunlight or lighting.
4. Exposure to Nox gas and similar substances may cause discoloration or fading. Please be careful about exposure to exhaust gas at the time of factory shipment, etc. Please take the same precautions in street-level stores and similar locations.
Lot control
1. Indigo-dyed products will inevitably have lot-to-lot variation due to the nature of the processing. For lot management and cutting, please use fabric from the same area of the same textile.
2. Indigo-dyed products may have unevenness or white specks due to the nature of the processing. Please understand this before use.
Shrinkage
Indigo products are not shrink-proof processed. Therefore, shrinkage will be greater than with ordinary products during the product washing and drying processes. Shrinkage rates also vary depending on the washing and drying methods. Before pattern making, cutting, sewing, and so on, be sure to check the fabric shrinkage. When checking shrinkage, please do so under conditions equivalent to the actual processing method.
