I went to the exhibition! (1) COSMO TEXTILE 21SS products

We participated in a textile exhibition held by COSMO TEXTILE and Uni Textile. So, I would like to share what I learned and my impressions.

First up is COSMO TEXTILE , which plans, produces, and sells materials for outerwear and bottoms, mainly woven from natural fibers. This time, a wide range of 21SS products are on display.

The textile mainly featured natural fiber fabrics (cotton, linen , etc.) such as khaki and beige, so the impression of "natural" and "functional" was strong, and the quality of natural fibers seemed to be conveyed through the colors. Of course, there are some colors that we receive a lot of inquiries about.

If you look closely, you will see keywords such as "salt shrinkage," "strong twist," "water repellent," and "high density." There were a lot of words I didn't know, so I learned a lot while watching them and having my boss teach me the technical terms and usage.

I learned that salt shrinking is a salt shrinking process that gives the textile an uneven feel, giving it a unique texture.

At Cosmo, we have seen a number of textile that have been treated with salt shrink water repellent treatment, and believe that they are not only functional but also have a texture, and are suitable for a wide range of purposes.

Also, strong twisting means "twisting"the thread . The main characteristics of high-twist yarn are wrinkle resistance and dry touch. I learned that high density makes the textile durable by increasing its density.

The photo above shows textile called cotton and linen moleskin. I was drawn to it because it had a refreshing feel. Cotton and Linen Moleskin uses Flemish linen to give it a cool and slubby feel. I think it's perfect for summer.

Looking at the overall product, I felt that many of Cosmo's products have a natural texture and are not only functional but also highly fashionable.

Recently, I studied the sentence, "Everyone except me is my teacher." I've learned a lot in the month since I joined the company. I will continue to contribute to the company while acquiring deeper specialized knowledge with the attitude that "Everyone is my teacher."
