Hello.
I'm mammy from the ApparelX trend blog.
In this blog, I’d like to introduce "Fuji Knitting," which specializes in mesh textile for miscellaneous goods.
The ApparelX maker page is here.
What is Fuji Knitting?
Fuji Knitting is a textile manufacturer based in Kyoto that has been dedicated to the production and sale of knitted lace textiles for 40 years since its founding.
It uses raschel machines, a type of warp knitting machine, so it is not suited to mass production, but since its founding it has continued manufacturing with a wide variety of products, small lots, and short lead times.
It mainly produces mesh textiles, and from planning and development onward it handles products centered on lifestyle-related materials such as shoes, bags, and hats, providing high-value-added textile materials to various manufacturers.
Rather than mass production and low quality, it uses raschel machines for small-scale production while focusing on its products and providing the textile customers are looking for.
