1680D Cordura nylon with INVISTA CORDURA® thread. 66 nylon is extremely durable and has superior friction strength, tear strength, and tensile strength compared to regular nylon textile. The back side is coated with PU, making it light water repellent.
It is the same ballistic nylon as TP001, but it has a PVC coating. Although it is heavier than TP001, it is more water repellent and durable.
Barrister nylon cloth is a super strong 66 nylon developed in the United States for bulletproof vests and military anti-aircraft gunners' vests. Barrister nylon (JIS standard name: Nylon 66) has excellent heat resistance, puncture resistance, and abrasion resistance, and is strong enough to be used in bulletproof vests. It is highly durable as it is 5 times stronger than regular nylon.
This is a nylon material made from yarn that is recycled from thread waste from spinning factories without being disposed of. I have seen materials such as cotton that are re-spun from fallen cotton, but I did not know that there was a similar nylon made from waste materials.
Duron is a highly durable synthetic leather that has a rubber-like texture but is made of high-purity urethane resin, making the surface scratch-resistant. This is an environmentally friendly polyurethane material that uses a new manufacturing method to significantly reduce VOC (volatile hazardous substances) and streamlines the manufacturing process to reduce CO2 emissions by over 70%.
