Hello. This is Kayaba from the ApparelX division. We are currently receiving many inquiries about textiles and trim materials needed for making masks, but manufacturers are not able to keep up with production at the moment. In particular, for textiles using Kurabo's processing technology CLEANSE®, we are also receiving orders on backorder.
Although some items are currently out of stock, we will share information on textiles that can be used for masks, as well as other trim materials, in addition to CLEANSE®.
This may be unnecessary to explain, but first we will describe the basic structure of a mask made from fabric. It is made up of the outer fabric (gauze-type textile), the filter sandwiched between them (a textile with antibacterial and antiviral processing such as CLEANSE® or nonwoven fabric), a shape-retaining tape that fits the shape of the nose, and elastic bands for the ears.
This is a soft 40/1 double gauze made from 100% cotton. It can be used as mask fabric that can be washed and reused.
This is a triple-weave gauze. Its soft feel makes it a wonderful material.
10906 CLEANSE®EX TC Broadcloth
This is broadcloth with the antiviral-fiber processing technology CLEANSE®. It is the thinnest in the CLEANSE series and is a material suitable for masks. In addition to this 10906, 10902 CLEANSE®EX 30s Burberry is also used for masks. It is often used as mask fabric as is, or as a filter.
Catlight® reacts to light and delivers various functions. It exhibits photocatalytic performance not only in sunlight but also under fluorescent light, and is a textile with dirt decomposition, deodorizing, UV-cut, and antibacterial functions. It is amazing that it works even under fluorescent lamps. Since it uses nano-level fine particles, there is no effect on color tone or texture. It does not have antiviral performance like CLEANSE, so it may be difficult to use as a filter.

Catlight®30S Combed Burberry
It uses combed yarn with excellent luster and has moderate softness and thickness. Catlight® reacts to light and delivers various functions. It exhibits photocatalytic performance not only in sunlight but also under fluorescent light, and is a textile with dirt decomposition, deodorizing, UV-cut, and antibacterial functions. Since it also uses nano-level fine particles, there is no effect on texture, etc. It does not have antiviral performance like CLEANSE, so it may be difficult to use as a filter.

GAUDI Fully Dull Tricot Pique Knit
This is a knit (pique knit) textile. If you use a stretchy textile for the outer fabric, I think a functional material with antibacterial, antimicrobial, or deodorizing properties would be preferable.

Setup Tape (Shape-retaining tape, hard, 20 m roll)
A polyethylene resin that feels like wire is contained inside the polyester textile, and by placing it in the brim of a hat or the collar of a jacket, you can shape it as desired. It can also be used as a mask nose wire.
Unlike conventional tape, it can be sewn directly to the textile, so it can be used for various items.
There are three tape hardness types: soft, hard, and super hard, and a wide range of tape widths are available.

It has 3.2x stretch. It has a moderate rebound and does not sag. It has a soft feel against the skin.
