* What is KOMATSUWA TEXTILE ?

KOMATSUWA TEXTILE Co., Ltd. is a textile manufacturer that plans, develops, and sells textile, and is committed to using natural fibers and soft colors and textile finishes.

Although the company was founded in 2006, it was originally established in July of the previous year (2006) as a spin-off from its parent company, Komatsuwa Co., Ltd. (founded in 1955).

KINANADAKI 31 (KINANADAKI-31)

① Standard: 138cm (effective width 135cm) x 24m

② industry weight: 156 g/m²

③ Material: 100% Cotton (high-twist)

Similar to the previous fabric, this fabric uses 40-count highly twisted yarn, and the thread was carefully textile to give it a more natural, washed-out look and a refreshing feel due to its rough texture.

Because it's such a popular textile, they plan to add more colors!

If you look at the product page, you'll see that the textile colors are really beautiful, and personally, I like the #2 saxe color the best.

KINANADAKI 30 (KINANADAKI-30)

① Standard: 130cm (effective width 125cm) x 22m

industry weight: 133g/m²

③ Material: 100% linen

Similar to the previous fabric, this textile uses 60-count linen and has a different textile from the " AZUMADAKI daki" style.

This textile is also popular, so we plan to add more colors.

This textile is thinner, giving it a natural feel, a dry touch, and beautiful natural textile.

There aren't many colors available yet, but I think it will become even more popular in the spring and summer seasons if more natural-looking colors are added.

AZUMADAKI 152/153

This textile is quilt by an individual craftsman in Kyoto using an old-fashioned quilt loom, with slow movements to reduce tension.

To create a unique texture, a new processing method (flower-print dyeing) is used. Unlike the traditional " AZUMADAKI-daki" method, the textile is processed with varying rotation speeds to create fine wrinkles and a distinctive texture.

The new products were apparently very well received, but surprisingly, linen products were also popular.

KINANADAKI 3 (KINANADAKI-3)

This textile is thick and has a vintage feel.

The textile comes in a variety of colors, is soft, and has a canvas-like feel, so it can be used for a variety of items.

KINANADAKI-7

③ Material: 100% linen

This textile is textile than the KINANADAKI 3 (KINANADAKI-3) mentioned above.

It also has a vintage feel, like canvas.

This textile can be used for items such as pants and bags.

It has fewer colors than KINANADAKI-3, but there are some colors that are not included.

If you're looking for a more subdued color, this textile is a good option.

KINANADAKI 5 (KINANADAKI-5)

③ Material: 100% linen

We only have black and off-white available, but the textile has a very natural feel and a unique texture.

It can create an interesting atmosphere even when used on items with a simple design.

This textile has a lovely, natural wrinkled texture.

AZUMADAKI 57

① Standard: 150cm x 25m (effective width 145cm)

② Material: 100% Cotton

This textile has a different textile from the one I introduced above.

While it's a standard 30/1 cotton twill fabric, the AZUMADAKI process gives it a soft, voluminous textile.

There are many natural-toned colors, and some have subtle differences, so I think they'll be easier to use.

ORIHIMEDAKI 2 (ORIHIMEDAKI-2)

① Specifications: 135cm x 25m (approx.)

industry weight: 142gsm

③ Material: 100% Cotton

This textile features very attractive yellow and brown tones.

Because it's thin, this textile is easy to use for shirts and blouses during the spring and summer seasons.

ORIHIMEDAKI 4 (ORIHIMEDAKI-4)

① Specifications: 143cm x 25m (approx.)

② industry weight: 187gsm

③ Material: 100% Cotton

Compared to other textile, it textile many darker, more subdued colors, giving it an appealingly calm and sophisticated feel.

It has a dry, natural-looking wrinkled texture, making it ideal for items like shirts.
