Not wool or synthetic! Thick double-sided brushed cotton fabric

Napping is a type of brushed finish that raises the fibers on the surface of the textile to create a fluffy nap. Including the pile, it has a thickness of about 3 mm, so it is a substantial textile. Because the raised fibers create an air layer, it is a light yet warm material.
Since it is a thick brushed material made from 100% cotton, to me it has the kind of texture I would want for an outer layer for winter camping that I could use without worrying about sparks from a campfire.
