When I first received it, I was worried because I couldn't feel the volume, but when I combined it with the material as a quilt batting, it created just the right amount of fullness. I used it as quilt batting for clothes, and it was flexible and felt very heat-retaining. I think if you quilt it, it will lose some volume. I was glad that it was easy to sew.
