Special Feature on High-Performance Quilt Batting Thinsulate!

Hello.

This is Yamazawa from the ApparelX trend blog.

Quilt batting materials play a major role as supplies for AW. Some are inexpensive, while others are high-performance quilt batting.

Today, we will introduce Thinsulate, a high-performance quilt batting material.

What is Thinsulate?

Thinsulate (Thinsulate) is the brand name of insulation material developed by 3M. It is a coined word combining Thin = thin + insulate = to insulate, and the brand name reflects the effect of quilt batting.

The best material for insulation is air. For example, even when you are having a campfire, you can bring your hand close because there is air between the flame and your hand. If there were iron between the flame and your hand, there is no doubt you would get burned.

In other words, to perform well as an insulating material, the key is how much air layer it can trap. Thinsulate has a high share as a quilt batting material used in outdoor wear, winter clothing, bedding, and more.

The reason is its extremely fine fibers (microfibers). These microfibers trap a large amount of air and create air layers, allowing it to function as an insulating material between the outside and inside.

It also has high breathability that releases moisture when you sweat, and it is highly washable, so it can be used repeatedly.

Features of Thinsulate

  • High insulation performance
  • Lightweight
  • Breathability and moisture management
  • Durability

The difference from other quilt batting is that it delivers these functions at a high level. To help guarantee its quality, when using Thinsulate products, you can attach them to products by applying for tags such as woven labels and hangtags.

Product introduction

Here are the Thinsulate products listed on ApparelX.

We stock Thinsulate's EX-Soft series and support cut-to-length by the meter.

The numbers in the product numbers that begin with EX-〇〇 are numeric values.

These numbers indicate industry weight, and are directly linked to thickness.

Thinsulate EX-Soft series list

Shipping quantity ranking

Since the EX-Soft series is divided by product number according to industry weight, we compiled a ranking by annual quantity.

1st EX-100

2nd EX-120

3rd EX-60

4th EX-30

5th EX-40

Until a little while ago, I felt that thin 30-40g Thinsulate was selling well, but now that there are also many mild winters, I feel that thicker Thinsulate is selling well because there are more days when quilt batting jackets and quilt batting coats alone are sufficient.

Summary

At ApparelX, we also carry inexpensive quilt batting that is not a brand, but why not use a Thinsulate product, which is widely recognized by consumers, to increase the value of your products?

Please consider it.
