Hello. I’m Kayaba from the ApparelX division.

Today, I’d like to introduce some jersey fabrics recently registered on ApparelX that are not made in Japan.

About LANIFICIO ROMA

LANIFICIO ROMA is an Italian textile manufacturer founded in 1956.

It produces everything from knits to woven fabrics, and while making use of its accumulated know-how, it continues to work on developing new materials.

Its technical capability is reflected in the many trademarks owned by ROMA, and in recent years it has also been actively working on using recycled raw materials and reducing environmental impact.

The colors, patterns, and texture are really nice

Now, let’s take a look right away.

All of the materials introduced here are Jacquard jerseys made with recycled cotton.

By using melange yarn in the yarn, the patterns have a more three-dimensional look.

Jersey fabrics usually raise concerns about knee bagging, but this series has excellent resilience and a high-quality texture that resists losing its shape, so it can be used not only for jackets but also for pants.

It is also recommended for chic golf wear and similar styles.

3-MA5342-1  ROMA Recycled Cotton Jersey

This is a houndstooth pattern.

3-MA5342-3  ROMA Recycled Cotton Jersey

This is sharkskin.

3-MA5342-6  ROMA Recycled Cotton Jersey

This has a somewhat complex pattern that is unique to Jacquard.

3-MA5342-7  ROMA Recycled Cotton Jersey

This is a slightly larger houndstooth pattern.

All of the product numbers use black yarn to express the pattern on basic colors such as navy, gray, and beige, giving them a very chic look.

Summary

What do you think?

I think a jersey jacket made with fabric like this would have just the right amount of relaxed feel and look great. Paired with denim and a turtleneck, a jersey jacket in this fabric would be really nice, wouldn’t it?

I’ve ended up looking at this completely from a men’s perspective, but I hope you’ll consider it.
