We introduced floral prints and flower motifs that were also trends in 2025 last year, and this year too, plant motifs derived from floral/botanical patterns seem likely to continue trending.

With charming coloring, large floral prints, and flower-motif appliqués on the chest that move with the frills, this is a collaboration with strong trend elements while still retaining the Cecilie Bahnsen feel in basic shapes.

Personally, plant motifs have always been a favorite theme of mine, so I’m very happy that the trend has made more cute items appear in the world and easier to find.
In recent years, the sense that “floral patterns = only for spring” has been fading, and I feel they are beginning to be recognized as year-round trend motifs that can express individuality, such as floral patterns and plant motifs.
Also, while floral and botanical print fabrics used to be mainstream, more brands are now incorporating botanical motifs into three-dimensional designs such as jacquard fabrics, embroidery, and quilting.In the 2026SS trends, “[sheerness]” such as sheer and organza are highlighted, while for 2026-27AW, “[fabrics you want to touch]” such as velour and cut jacquard are being noted, so combining these elements may help you capture the trend more effectively.
