Ordering from Vietnam

Delivery to Vietnam
You can choose from the following delivery methods for addresses in Vietnam. The delivery fee is shown at checkout before you place your order.
  • DHL (International Standard Delivery): arrives in about 2–6 days after dispatch. This is the method we recommend.
  • EMS (International Economy Delivery): arrives in about 5–9 days after dispatch, at a lower fee. Available when your order weighs 10 kg or less.
  • Combined delivery: ships together with your earlier order to save the delivery fee. Shipping may take longer.
  • Your own delivery account: if you have your own carrier account (for example, DHL), we can ship with it and charge no delivery fee. A handling fee of JPY 2,000 applies for export procedures such as the invoice, packing list, and export packing. To use it, send us the carrier name and account number through the support page; we enable it after checking.
Delivery times are counted from the day we dispatch your parcel and do not include customs clearance. For more about each method, see Delivery.
Prices and taxes on ApparelX
  • When you are logged in, prices are shown in your account currency. For accounts in Vietnam, this is usually Vietnamese dong (VND). To see how we convert prices from Japanese yen, see Currency and Exchange Rates.
  • Japanese consumption tax is not charged on orders delivered to Vietnam.
  • Our prices do not include Vietnamese import duty or VAT. We send orders to Vietnam on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms, so you, as the importer, pay them at import.
Import duty, VAT, and customs clearance
As a rough guide, import duty on our products is about 5–20% of the value of the goods, and VAT is 8–10%, depending on the product. These rates are only estimates and may change.
Import duty and VAT apply even to small orders, and your order may need to go through formal customs clearance.
At customs clearance, your ID number (for businesses, your tax code) and your real full name are needed. The carrier or customs will contact you if more information is needed.
Certificates of origin
Under economic partnership agreements between Japan and Vietnam, such as AJCEP, some products made in Japan can be imported with reduced duty, but a certificate of origin is required. If you need one, please contact us before you place your order and tell us the product codes.
Your shipping address
  • Your address is printed in English on the shipping label. If you enter it in Vietnamese, please check the English address shown at checkout and correct it if needed.
  • Enter the recipient's real full name and a phone number where the carrier can reach you.
  • A postal code is not required.
