Ordering from China

Our designated carrier for mainland China is SF Express. You can choose from the following delivery methods. The delivery fee is shown at checkout before you place your order.

• SF Express Standard (International Standard Delivery): arrives in about 4–7 days after dispatch. This is the method we recommend.
• SF Express Economy (International Economy Delivery): arrives in about 5–10 days after dispatch, at a lower fee.
• Combined delivery: ships together with your earlier order to save the delivery fee. Shipping may take longer.
• Your own logistics company: you can also arrange a logistics company yourself and have it collect your parcel from us. Please tell us the company name, your account details, and the planned collection date in advance. A handling fee of JPY 2,000 applies for export procedures such as the invoice, packing list, and export packing.

We can also introduce a freight forwarder via Hong Kong that other customers often use. If you would like its contact card on WeChat, please ask us. We have no partnership with this forwarder and do not know its rates, so please contact it directly and decide for yourself.

Delivery times are counted from the day we dispatch your parcel and do not include customs clearance. Delivery can take longer if customs inspects your parcel, and for inland or remote areas.

• When you are logged in, prices are shown in your account currency. For accounts in China, this is usually Chinese yuan (CNY). To see how we convert prices from Japanese yen, see Currency and Exchange Rates.
• Japanese consumption tax is not charged on orders delivered to China.
• Our prices do not include Chinese customs duty or VAT.

Under the rules of China Customs, orders with a total value of more than CNY 5,000 must go through formal customs clearance. For these orders, please choose one of the following:

• Formal clearance by your company: if your company has an import license, we can ship as usual.
• Formal clearance through an agent: if your company does not have an import license, you can arrange a customs clearance agent yourself. The agent charges its own fee.
• Simple clearance: we split your order into shipments of less than CNY 5,000 each, and each goes through simple clearance. Splitting adds delivery fees, and delivery may take a few days longer.

Under China's import and export laws, customs duty and VAT are charged on fabrics and garment materials imported from abroad. Our prices do not include them; you pay them separately to China Customs.

As a rough guide, the tax is about 24% of the total product amount.

• Your address is printed in English on the shipping label. If you enter it in Chinese, please check the English address shown at checkout and correct it if needed.
• Enter your company name. SF Express cannot ship if a person's name is entered as the company name. If you do not have a formal company name, a name such as “XXX Studio” or “XXX Atelier” is fine.
• Enter a phone number where SF Express can reach you.
• Postal codes differ by district even within the same city. If you enter one, please check the code for your district.
