During my student years, I studied English the whole time, and when I was in high school, I lived in the U.S. for about two years as well. My friends around me also studied English, and my school only had English classes. In fact, 15 years ago, Japanese was not popular at all in Vietnam. However, Japanese culture was trending in Southeast Asia. In middle school, I first joined a forum for people interested in Japanese culture. Every year, a big Japanese festival was held. Thanks to that, I was able to learn about all kinds of Japanese youth culture, such as manga and anime, fashion, music, and makeup.

I used to do cosplay.

I organized Lolita community events.

I liked J-ROCK.
After graduating from university, I got a job in Vietnam. Even so, my interest in Japan did not fade. In 2017, I quit my job and decided to pursue my dream of going to Japan. I studied at a Japanese language school for a year and a half, and then attended a fashion vocational school for another year. Because I’m interested in the apparel industry, I joined Okura Shoji. Learning new things every day and being able to do work I like is what motivates me.

I often take photos of outfits I coordinate.
