Although not a new technology, recycled fibers are play a big role in sustainable textxile.
Lyocell (TENCEL™), in particular, is a recycled fiber made from wood pulp, which has a circular cross-section of fibers that are strong and resistant to shrinkage and loss of strength when wet. Moreover, TENCEL is ecological fiber as no waste liquid is released into the environment because the solvent is recovered and reused.
